Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has said that he was aware of the feelings of Tamil Nadu MLAs on the happenings in Sri Lanka.

Dr. Singh said he read the resolution passed by the Tamil Nadu Assembly and added that the Centre shared the feeling of the House on the issue.

In a letter to Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi, Dr. Singh recalled the visit of Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee to Sri Lanka and said that India would continue its support for finding a peaceful, lawful and political solution to the ethnic tangle

India should involve very deeply in this problem and take a strong step to stop the innocent Tamils being killed daily. India merged north and east in 1987 and after 18 years Sri Lanka demerged without even discussing with India. This shows the weeknes of the Indian government. Even now it is not too late for India to take stern action.India is the only salvation for Eelam Tamils and should not play a double game, showing one side to Tamils and other to Sri Lanka.

What on earth is going to happen by exchanging "love" letters between these two leaders. Nothing concrete has happened yet, nor have they made any attempt to put an end to the untold hardships that Tamils undergo in the hands of sinhala demon and devil advocates. Instead, India simply watches, while democratically elected tyrant RAJA BUTCHER wipes the Tamil race from the Ceylon soil with his so-called "mahinda chinthanaya".

When shilpa shetty was humiliated in "big brother" tv show, the whole India was in turmoil - I welcome this attitude. On the other hand, when their own brethren are killed/rapped/starved to death in Ceylon by sinhala terrorists, the whole India does not seem to take care of.

Brothers and Sisters of India, Please change your attitude and be awaken !!!

Dr Singh and Dr Karunanithi can exchange letters for kingdom come. It wont do any good. What the people of the North and East want is a solution, a solution to self rule, an end to attrocities by GoSL and the devolution of powers to the Tamils to determine their destiny.

Whatever words of wisdom to settle the ethnic conflict will be a far cry as these advice only will fall on deaf ears of the President and his cronies. There must therefore be a firm action by the Indian and the Tamil Nadu governments to resolve the conflict and not expressing their sorrows (which nobody cares) on the sufferings of the Tamil minority in Srilanka.

Our destiny is sealed with the killing of Rajiv Gandhi and many more prominent Tamil leaders. REPENT
