As a responsible govenment, It has all the rights to protect every citizen. anyone can't control a single inch in the land against the gonevrenment's law. Only terrorists can and should be fought against. I am not personally sad about Tamilselvans death as he and his fellows had put thousands of Tamils in risk and was killed. I am really sad about them... War against LTTE should never be stopped, no matter what is the cost. He was able to interact with peace negotiators and the world at large well enough to express the views and convey the expectations of the Tamil people in a clear and precise manner. It is sad that a person of such high esteem who had the courage and wisdom to speak out for justice and fair play had to go at a time when he is most needed. This is indeed a tragedy and a sad day for freedom and rights and most of all the Tamil people who are deprived of these. He died a hero fighting for a just cause. His memory will live for ever in the hearts of the Tamils. May his soul rest in peace. People dying in a war or conflict happens and the loss is for both sides but rejoicing the killing of a person who exhibited such a high degree of skills and excellence in the peace negotiation process, a person who stood for peace, justice, freedom and fair play does not speak well for the SLA as a person of such a caibre whichever side of the conflict he belongs should be respected.
