Can I address your last paragraph and ask why you think the future of Tamil youth should be limited by the ignorant & irrelevant terrorist branding? Nothing is impossible. Everything is possible. Can I use the Israeli-manufactured Kfir bomber (referred to in your article) as an example here? The Kfir resulted from an Israeli modification to the French Dassault Mirage fighter-bomber. When the French halted shipments of Mirage aircraft to Israel in the late 1960s, the Israelis didn’t just lie down & die – the Israelis simply started manufacturing their own military aircraft including the Kfir and the Lavi. The Israelis did not just depend on the supply of such foreign military technology when it imposed limits on Israel’s ability to defend itself. They instead generated their own industry. Similarly, Tamil youth do not need to depend on western interests to generate their own expertise in avionics, space, communication, military, nuclear and biotech areas. Superior Tamil intelligence & aptitude is the reason for over 50 years of considerable academic discrimination against Tamils by the many successive Sri Lankan governments. So use the brains that are obviously there!!
