He was counting on JVP to give full support for him to be a president. But JVP has other ideas. They were using MR to achieve their goal which was lost during the insurrection. Knowing this MR has got himself surrounded by his own kith and kin to protect himself. But JVP is well established within the armed forces and is doing what ever they want. MR does not have the power to prevent them from doing so. So the couintry's image will be tarnished very badly soon.MR is also unable to keep the promises that he gave to the Internatinal community.
