When man is courting doom & gloom, his critical thinking is clouded (Maya). He sees nothing except evil and walks towards self destruction. Such is case of Srilanka/ns. They do not see TRUTH and they do not listen to good advice.
Oh, land of Mahavamsa myths seekers, you are going get razed by RIGHTEOUSNOUS. - Soma Jey

America, Britain, Japan and Norway stress for a political solution clearly meaning a credible package covering all aspects of the aspirations of the Tamil population in the North and East.

To this, Rajapakse says the All Party conference will put up a proposal based on the consensus of the south. Such sheer stupidity.

Firstly, the main opposition party the UNP is withdrawing from the All party conference; the JVP is loggerhead with his own party and is against any proposal.

And most importantly, the conflict is in the North and East which mainly involves the Tamil population. Instead of talking to the affected party, which in this case is the Tamils, he is talking to people not at all affected by the conflict and also those who are totally in disagreement with his way of handling the situation. Obviously, he doesn't even understand where he stands or what the root cause of the problem is.

With such a person at the helm, can the Tamils or for that matter anyone expect a credible solution to end this conflict. The International community is wasting their breath trying to drive home their point in indirect ways into such a person with no calibre. Instead they should be direct and drive the nail straight into his head. - jay

Funny thing!!! The whole world says the same thing which the man on the street has been saying all the time - a political solution that satisfies the aspirations of the Tamils. But the world leaders cannot understand one thing. That is the President and the leadership are mute and deaf - these words are nothing to them. Then the next question is why is the International community is supporting the terrorist regime! One wonders - jay
