Good on you, Satheesan.

A well analysed and written article. the diapora must get out of the mindset" I am alright, Jack" and feel for the brethern back home. See, the Buddist monk of Burma( Myaanmar ) how they got the international attention recently. Our(Tamils) protest and other means of support does not get the useful coverage or hearing. The Eelam Tamil World Body must come up with a statergy. May be the " Jewish way" like you mentined. - Soma Jey

This is the very reason, why India is not helping LTTE to have seperate State in Sri Lanka. They are fear of having military movement in India for seperate state for Tamils after that. - saj

Valour without proper political judgment is futile. LTTE built towering hopes in among the Tamil population that they will win us a homeland. Will such a homeland, if feasible, will be a just and fair homeland? Will freedom of expression prevail? Given the killings and foul smear campaigns by the LTTE and its agents, living under any government, Sinhalese or otherwise, would have no noticeable effect. LTTE ended our cause with the killing of Rajiv - For Diaspora consisting of a fair number who has never seen the capital of Ceylon before reaching the capitals of western countries the Sri Lankan problem is gives the opportunity to become community leaders to satisfy their ego. Their current priority is to build temples one for each Hindu Deity to satisfy their perceived spiritual Needs akin to the choice of breakfast menu from Thosai,Iddly, Uppuma and the like. The Diaspora never believed in equality as the sense of equality never existed. Our Caste system alone is just one example. The pronounced sectarianism that prevailed among Villages which were just few kilometers apart. In our temples do we greet each other spontaneously? No eye contact unless you know the other person well. Probably like dogs we do not like our own kind.
Please close down the Temples to bring the full focus of the Diaspora towards the suffering of the Tamils in Sri Lanka

The contents of their web pages suggest that they are LTTE tentacles in the west, A DISGRACE to the Tamil community.
