<description>The UN Human Rights Commission, UNICEF, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Asian Human Rights Commission have all expressed their concern over the human rights violations in the country. The IIGEP has expressed serious concerns over the functioning of the Presidential commissions. The humanitarian groups have placed Sri Lanka in the list of the worst countries in the world for humanitarian work. The Asian Human Rights commission had severely condemned the Sri Lankan government’s broken down rule of law and said its policing system is corrupt to the core and its judiciary has made a mockery of justice.

Now when the Ambassadors of the USA and Germany and British High Commissioners blame the government’s armed forces for the atrocities, crimes and abuses being committed on the Tamil population, the Sri Lankan government says it is interference of their internal affairs of the country. Are all these not evidence that the Sri Lankan government is grossly involved in abuses and crimes. Doesn’t all these accusations prove state terrorism by the government.
